Welcome to Jatayu! Our company name reflects the name of a strong bird in Hindu mythology that fights valiantly and sacrifices its life to rescue an exiled princess in distress. We hope to emulate this bird’s values and ideals in fulfilling our clients’ greatest data needs through top-quality work.

Jatayu was founded by Krishnan Srinivasan, who is also its Chief Executive Officer. Krishnan has ample experience in travel demand modeling, statistical analysis and development of applications to aid decision-makers in optimum use of scarce public resources. He has helped Department of Transportation officials in the states of Maryland, Virginia, Florida and Michigan on several transportation improvement projects. In addition, he has worked with local governments in Kazakhstan and India on issues ranging from facilitating trade and investments, streamlining regulatory and public sector accounting processes to evaluation of major investments in roads, urban transport, ports and new technologies. He has also assisted The World Bank in India on several infrastructure projects.

Krishnan is an alumnus of the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, the University of Cincinnati’s College of Engineering and Osmania University.
